Chelle's wedding...

I have been busy this weekend doing laundry, and starting to pack. Some of us are headed to Chicago on Tuesday. We will spend a few days there, then travel to Indiana. My step sister Chelle, is going to be celebrating marriage with her new husband Jim! We are all looking forward to being together as family! I have never met Jim before. I have heard only good things about him, in the past few years. We will spend the 4Th of July in Indiana! I have never been there before! I did a Google search, to see were abouts we will be. It looks like beautiful green country! Have you ever been to Chicago, or Indiana? I have never been to either, and would love any fun ideas of places to visit while in Chicago! :)

Hobby Lobby!

Hobby Lobby opened, and I am loving it!!! I had nooo idea what this store entailed! I was thinking it was going to be just another craft store. Kind of like a Michael's. It is nothing like Michael's! This store has so much home decor!!! I love it! Ben, and Dessie are building their first home. Dessie, Ben, and I decided to take a trip to Hobby Lobby. We had a lot of fun finding treasures for their new home! Ben stuck with us for a little while. Then decided, a bench at the front of the store, might be better. Has anyone been to this store yet? If there is one near you, it really is a fun place to shop. :)

Summer days! For the past few weeks we have spent a lot of time in the pool. Today it only reached 103! That really isn't that bad considering how hot it can get. This morning I was thinking, it would be wonderful if it was cool outside. Cool enough to take a bike ride, without melting. Then my mind led me to realize, those days will come. For now it is swimming weather! :) What is your weather like right now?

Girls Camp

So Fun!

The girls in my cabin.

Our cabin

It felt so good to sleep in my own bed last night! I have been at Girls Camp since Tuesday morning. We rolled back into town yesterday around noon. I have to admit, I was one happy person! Girls camp was wonderful! Our camp was in Strawberry Arizona. It is only about an hour, and a half from my house. The theme this year was, Once Upon a Princess! This was such a fitting theme for these girls. Camp is such a great thing for these girls. I am not sure of the total amount of girls that attended this year. I am sure there were a few hundred. They get spiritually fed, have fun, dance, laugh, run, eat. sleep...a little, hike, sing, perform skits, enjoy the outdoors, crafts, etc. The main purpose though is to let them know that they are loved. That they are wonderful, and our Heavenly Father does think they are all princesses. It is a wonderful things to see, and be involved in. I feel so blessed that Sarah is able to attend something so positive! It was fun to be at camp with her! Here are some pictures of our adventure! :)

back, and blogging...

Last night we had YW's at one of the other leaders houses. She set up a movie screen, popcorn, drinks, goodies, etc. in her backyard. We had about 13 beehive girls that were there. They are so cute at this age. 12-13. We watched the Ultimate Gift. I have seen this movie before, and really liked it. It was good to see it again. It is one of those movies that really makes me stop, and think. If you haven't seen it, I would recommend it for sure.

I have been working on Father's Day gifts. My cousin Ashley and I started working on these last week. I would love to post pictures, but, I am afraid Steve may take a peak, at my blog before Father's Day. I had thought that he rarely looked to see what I was posting about. Well, at Christmas I posted about a gift I was making him. On Christmas day he mentioned reading about it!!! I was more surprised than him! :) I will post pictures after Father's Day for sure. Do any of you have some fun Father's Day ideas that you would like to share? I would love to hear them! :) Well, I am off to start my Thursday. It feels good to be back, and blogging again. Steve has been out of town, and now that he is back I can take a big sigh of relief. I was at the office trying to make sure things ran smoothly that last few days. That alone is a huge job in itself! :)

sillhoute class...

I love this wall!

I took one of the best classes I have ever taken Saturday! Domestic Bliss has some of the funnest classes to take! Check them out here! I am so excited to take more classes. The silhouette I made in class was of Steve. I will post a picture of it as soon. I was so happy that it actually turned out! Stephanie taught the class, and is an amazing teacher! She made my silhouettes that I had done of the kids around Christmas. I have them hanging in my front room, and love them. When I saw she was teaching a class, I knew I had to be there! Thank you Stephanie! :) This afternoon guess what I am doing? You guessed it, working on silhouettes! I love this new found summer hobby of mine! :)
