Christmas card tree

I spray painted clothes pins red to clip the cards to the branches.

I have been working on a Christmas card tree. Every year we put the Christmas cards that we receive, in a sleigh that sits on the counter. We all love to look at the new cards, that come in the mail. I decided that they needed to be displayed instead of sitting in a sleigh all month! This is what I cam up with.

Christmas in the air...really! :)

It has been busy around here! Busy is what has kept me away from my blog! It does feel good to sit down tonight, and share a little about our world. We are getting in the Christmas spirit around here! We, or Steve brought the decorations, etc. down from the attic. This alone is a chore. Thank you Steve! We have began putting the decorations up. I am in hopes to have the tree up this weekend. We want to make sure that we are all here! I LOVE listening to Christmas carols. I bought a C.D. at Desseret Book. The name of it is called LDS Christmas Collection. Donny Osmond sings Mary Did You Know....beautiful is all I can say. I can barely listen to this song with out tearing up every time! I love this time of year, and what it represents. I will write more about that later. :) I am off for FHE, and then watch my show! Dancing With The Stars! I have a question? Who are you voting for? I think everyone on there is soooo good!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I am feeling much gratitude today. I have been blessed with a husband that loves me unconditionally. We have now known each other for 23 years, almost 24 It will be 23 years of marriage in January! Yes, we met at a very very young age! What more could I ask for? :) I am so blessed for my 4 beautiful children, and daughter in-law that I love with every fiber of my being. I have been blessed with parents that love me, and in-laws that love me too. I have a sister, cousins, brother in-laws, sister in laws, nieces nephews that love me, and I love them. I have friends that have been there whenever I have called. They are wonderful examples to me. I have the gospel in my life. I truly couldn't ever have imagined the blessings that would come from this gift from my Father in Heaven. I am who I am today because of it. This I know. With all of this being said, I feel blessed beyond measure! HAPPY THANKSGIVING

The weekend...

This is another thing I enjoyed this weekend, my electric blanket. :)

This is one thing we enjoyed this weekend! It was cold in Heber. When we got in the car this morning to leave it was 23.

It feels good to sit down, and write a little about the weekend. We headed up to the cabin on Friday after school. We had to go to Snowflake to pick up a quad that had been stolen then found. (long story) We had to meet at the sheriff's office in Snowflake. After that business was taken care of we stopped at Eva's wonderful Mexican food, and ate. Then headed to Heber for the weekend. Yesterday we spent the day just relaxing, eating, and even watched a good movie. We watched The Ultimate Gift. I highly recommend this movie. It sure does leave me with a lot to think about, and the want to do better. We got home to Gilbert this morning around 10:30. Then we got ready for church, and off we went! It has been a busy day, but a good day. Steve, and I both taught today. I love teaching the Young Woman! I hope everyone had a wonderful Sabbath.

Update on jewels :)

I have had quite a few e-mails asking me my prices on some of my latest jewels! I am flattered to say the least! :) The necklaces with the pearls are 22.00, without the pearls they are 20.00. The bookmarks are 14.00. I hope that helps! Thanks so much for all of your interest. Michelle

a great day

Today has been one of those wonderul fall days that makes me want to stay home. We have had some rain today, gloomy skies, and wind is in the air. I LOVE it! I had some errands to run this morning. Once they were done I came home, and am here to stay for the night. I decided I will make Tacos for dinner, something easy, yet yummy! I LOVE days like today. Today has me feeling very blessed, and in such a wonderful mood. It must have taken the weather to make me slow down a little, and smell the roses! What do you like to do on days like today? When you are home, and the day feels like a home day? This afternoon I am going to take a little time, and map out my Christmas plans. I have shopped a little, but it is time for the lists to be made!

Jake

Jake, Cody, and Robbie

Jake is such a hard worker. Friday evening on the way to the Hannah Montana concert we stopped by to see Jake at work. He has been working f-a-r away! His best friend's parents opened a restaurant a few months ago on the other side of Phoenix. Jake has been helping them out, and driving, and or carpooling back, and forth to work. He will only be working there a few more weeks, it really is to far. I was able to get some pictures of Jake, Cody, and Robbie the other night. These three boys are such good kids! The remind me of the Good Ol' Boys!

41 days

until Christmas! I am loving this time of year! I have been working on some projects here at home this afternoon. I have my Warm Apple Pie candle burning. It smells so warm, and cozy! Love it! Ashley put this http://eclecticesoterica.com/xmas_cnt.html Christmas counter on her blog a while back. I loved it, so thought I would put it on mine too. I am trying to convince Steve to start getting the decorations out of the attic. I seem to forget what I have every year! I just can't wait for it all to come down those stairs, and open the storage boxes that all of the prettties are in! It's beginning to feel like Christmas is in the air! :)

Something New

I have been busy working on stamped jewels etc. I have been having so much fun! The possibilities are endless, and this I love! I have many diferent sizes of metal, and shapes that I can use. I decided to do this along with my soldering charms, etc. I love working with metal, so decided this would be great! I love to create!!! I will be taking orders for my soldering until the 20Th of this month. I have been working away trying to get the orders complete as fast as I can. I will take orders for the stamped jewels right up until the holidays. I will continue my soldering the second week of Jan. after the kiddos are back in school. Soldering takes much more time, and concentration from me. I LOVE making anything pretty with metal! :) I will have more pictures to post tonight, tomorrow, etc. If you are interested in placing an order feel free to e-mail me. Azsunm@aol.com

a good day

Wendy, and I

Jake, Amy, and Sarah

Today has been a good day. This morning Ben, and I went to breakfast together. It was so nice to be able to sit, and visit with my boy. I love this kid!!! He had just got off of work, and came, and got me for breakfast.

My sister in law Wendy, and niece Amy came to town late last night. We were lucky to be able to spend part of the day with them. We visited, laughed, ate, and shopped a little. I miss them, and the rest of their family tons! I do feel blessed to see them as often as we do though. We will we together again for Thanksgiving, and a week during Christmas break. Family is the best!

Cousins stopped by to Trick or Treat, and visit for a little while! We were so happy to see these happy faces! Ashley's blog is listed on my sidebar :)

Mollie was a bumble bee!

Nate, and Mollie

Jake being S-P-O-O-K-Y! :)

Jake, and Cody

Steve, and I

Steve dressed up in his Costume shirt, and wig/hat. This has become a annual costume!

Sarah, and her friend dressed up as 80's Barbies

We had so much fun last night! The kids were all here at the beginning of the night except for Ben. He was working. We decided to order Papa Jon's pizza to start the night out. This way it was good, fast, and easy to clean up! :) Desirae, and I took Sarah, and her friend out Trick or Treating. Sarah, and her friend dressed up as 80's Barbies. So cute! Jake was a handsome guy with a wig, and a hat on! :) Nate was Nate. He hung out with Steve passing candy out. I think they had as much fun as the trick or treaters. :)
