Summer...
Summer days! For the past few weeks we have spent a lot of time in the pool. Today it only reached 103! That really isn't that bad considering how hot it can get. This morning I was thinking, it would be wonderful if it was cool outside. Cool enough to take a bike ride, without melting. Then my mind led me to realize, those days will come. For now it is swimming weather! :) What is your weather like right now?

Our weather is hotter than hell! I stepped outside today barefoot and about burned my feet right off my ankles. Hehe.... Thanks so much for meeting us for dinner the other night. It was so much fun. Just wish you could have stayed there till 11:00 with us chatting. Next time for sure. Glad that your daughter came along and was able to meet her. Shes beautiful and has such beautiful eyes and hair. We need to get together when you come through Vegas!!!
I adore that bike pictures Michelle. Lovely.
I always check the weather there in AZ for my son. It has been blistering. I am glad you have a pool to cool down in. It hasn't been that hot here at all. We get a little bit in the afternoon, but nothing like you guys. Stay cool my friend.
Don't know how you cope with the heat! It doesn't even cool off at night! Anyway, we all have things we like and don't like about the weather where we live, right? It's nice here. A little hot - in the 90s but it cools off at night and we can open windows. I love that!! Good thing you have a pool! :o)
Mom! Okay, this is the most funniest and wierdest thing ever. I was jus looking for aa picture of a beach crusier to put on my blog. Then I went to go read your blog, and you had one on there!!! :) A bike ride would be nice, on the beach! I love you!
I'm with ya on the heat! It was so fun getting together with you on Sat! Thanks again! It's always great to see you and meeting your sweet Sarah was so nice. Can't wait to get together again!
..oh yeah... now I remember what I don't miss about Tucson and the Phoenix area....
The 110 degree weather.
UGH!
Our weather here is a cool 79 and no humidity.
Yay!
our weather has been nice. I do hope it gets little hotter soon. I do love hot summer weather..
yes i will call you MONDAY:)
I would love me some good swimming weather. Its been a colder summer for us. Your girls camp experince looks like fun- you have such a great relationship with your daughter, that is so wonderful and says a lot about you as a mother!;)
Cool Bike- Todd bought Makenna a bike like that for her birthday. the beach cruisers are so fun! you have the greatest blog!
WHAT A CUTE BIKE!
And yes, we have been enjoying the pool (and the A/C) around here as well!
It's officially summer!!
We were just under 100 degrees today but earlier this week it was over 105. Thank goodness we were in Colorado where it was cooler.
Our pool has been getting plenty of use too!
We are "hot" (for here). It was 94* today. And it was unusually muggy too. But we do get afternoon storms like you guys in Phoenix do. We get the monsoons too, which was a surprise to me when we moved here!!
love that picture of the pink cruiser! so cute!
i know always wishing away the seasons, i totally do that. it's easy to do when you can't breathe it's so hot. AHHH, our weather is nice the rest of the year.
so fun to do dinner with you! and see Sarah again she is gorgeous! watch out for her later. all the guys will be chasing her.
Hey we are haveing a bead party at my house like we used to have in vvl. so you are welcome to come. but come later than 9:00 pm cause i will be at dance till 9:00 pm.
I heart that pink bike! Yes, it is swimming weather here and not much else. When we first moved here almost 12 years ago, it took awhile to get used to reversing our outdoor activites and planning the bike riding, park playing to the seasons other than summer. Which makes me VERY thankful for our pool!
It's so hot and humid here on Okinawa! Swimming is the BEST relief!
I love that photo of that bike!! Several years ago, one of the towns in Chicago decorated all their entire town with old bikes like that one... turned them into flower boxes etc. I just LOVE that photo. I may have to "borrow" it. :>)
