Nie Nie...
I will never forget when I was at Janae's house about a year, and half ago. She had a few of us girls come into her darling office. She had found a blog that she wanted to share with us. That is the day I was introduced to Nie Nie. Today I am honoring Nie Nie, and her family. I will post back later about that. There are some amazing auctions going on right now for her, and her sweet family. If you have some free time, you might want to take a look. http://www.designmom.com/

blogs that inspire me...
I have found some WONDERFUL blogs lately. I love blogs that inspire me to create. I am getting ready to work on a few rooms in our house. I have been looking for inspiration, and I have found it. I had to share the talent with you! http://nestingplacenc.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html This blog is something else! I have been inspired to create our own curtains for our bedroom because of this blog. Wish me luck! :) http://watchthewindblowby.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html Cute ideas! http://www.lemonannie.blogspot.com/ I like this one so much I mentioned it to a few people yesterday. She has such great taste! http://laughterbylakeside.blogspot.com/ This blog is one I have been looking at for a few months now. I love the way she can create a space, and make it look so inviting. Well, those are all for now. I hope you have as much fun looking at these blogs as I have. :) Happy looking! :)

Nie Nie.
I know many of you have been touched by a wonderful woman, Nie Nie. I recieved the news of an accident that she, her husband, and a flight instructor were in. When my freind Janae called, and told me, my heart sank. I just couldn't imagine the pain that all involved were suffering from. The flight instructor passede away. He was in the same ward as Nie Nie, and her husband Christian. Heartbreaking! Nie Nie, and her husband are in the burn unit in Phoenix. With Nie Nie things are very critical. Her husband Christian is doing somewhat better. The week has gone on, as they do. My heart has ached more than I ever thought it would for this darling family. Nie Nie made my silhoutes of my kids at Christmas time. They hang beatifully in our front room. I took a silhouetter making class from her a few months later. She truely is one of a kind. I am going to link her blog, along with her sister Jane's blog. Jane has been so kind to update us a few times a day since the accident. I have been pondering, and praying a lot this week. http://nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/ http://cjanerun.com/

Salt Lake Temple...
I have been thinking a little of the time of year that is just around the corner. Fall! I LOVE this time of the year. I was in Hobby Lobby last week. They have some of their fall decorations out. They also have their Christmas decorations out! I couldn't help but feel a bit of excitement after walking the isles, and looking at the greens, reds, yellows, orange, browns colors, etc. There is something that warms my heart about fall leaves. I love the colors that they become. Last October, we went to Salt Lake, for General Conference. It was pouring rain, and cold, when we attended the morning session. While arriving in the car, I snapped this picture, out of the car window. I LOVE it! I have told myself over, and over I want to put it in a frame. This week I am going to do just that! :) This picture means a lot to me. The wording is simple, but means much to me. The colors are beautiful, and make me sit, think, and even smile a little.

a new home for Ben, and Dessie... :)
I am so excited for Ben, and Dessie. They decided to have a house built this year. This morning was the walk -thru. I was lucky enough to go with them. Their new home is going to be perfect for them! I just had to get a picture of them in front of their home. Congratulations, Ben, and Dessie!

photo shoot in Midway...
While we were in Utah we had some pictures taken. We found a house not to far from us, that has the best farmland ever!!! It had the fences, old trucks, green pastures, etc. Perfect! Here are just a few of what was taken. We didn't have Nate with us. :( We are going to Photo shop him in! We actually were missing three family members out of the whole bunch, of us. We took a big family picture. There where about 30 of us there for that one! I can't wait to see the pictures that come on the final disc. It was a great evening, and lot's of fun memories.

Monday...
Mondays have always been a catch up day around here. Today is no different. I have been to the car wash, grocery store, office, and now am home to stay, hopefully for the rest of the day. Laundry is calling my name! What are your Mondays usually like? There is always a satisfaction to a good Ole' Monday full of chores, that have a check next to them. :)

Sarah's first day of High School...
Today was Sarah's first day of High School! I have to admit, after I took her to school this morning, I got teary eyed. Steve called me on the cell phone, and asked how I was. I thought I was getting it together, until he asked me. I started getting teary eyed again. After that I got busy, and tried to adjust to my little girl being at school! Summer went by so fast! I am glad the boys are still home for a few more weeks. College always starts a few weeks after High school starts. So, for the next few weeks we will have a little more summer with the boys! Sarah had a great first day of school. I was so happy to hear about her day.

Ryan, and Alex get married!
It feels like I haven't really unpacked my suitcase for w-a-y to long! Steve, and I flew up to Salt Lake, and drove to Idaho Falls with his Mom, and Bud on Friday. My nephew Ryan got married in the Idaho Falls Temple on Saturday morning. We sure are glad that we were able to be there, to share that special time with him. He married the sweetest girl, named Alex. We are so happy to have her join our family. We went to the reception Saturday evening. It was so fun to dance, and have fun with my nieces, and nephews. I love the way that they are all growing up to be such great young adults. Our kids stayed home this weekend. We rarely ever go anywhere without them. It was such a quick trip though, we went alone. We will be going to another reception for them in Nevada this weekend. Then I finally will be home for good! :) Our computers are in the shop. Hopefully we will get them back tonight. I am over at the office, and haven't downloaded pictures yet. I will post them later.
