School Days School Days...

Jacob

Sarah

The kids are home from school, and seemed to enjoy their day. Last night Steve gave Jacob, and Sarah a father's blessing. This is something that we do every year the night before school starts. Nathan will have his in a week, and a half when he goes back to school. I feel very blessed to have a husband that is able to give such a blessing. I know that the kids feel the strength that come from these sweet blessings, and moments that they share with Steve. We all gather in the front room as a family, for the special times. I took the Annual First Day of School pictures this morning. I thought I would share them! It looks like we are off to a good start of the school year!

Already starting school? It was a family tradition in our family to that my dad would give me a father's blessing before school starts - that and Rocky's pizza. Thanks for sharing :-)

Your kids are so good looking. They look ready and so stylish :D. I hope this school year brings many good things for your kids.

I love the idea of blessings for the kids before school starts. i have heard that many times before but have never done it. This year will be the start of that for our kids.

Such beautiful kiddo's! We do the Back to School Father's Blessings too, and yes that is such a nice thing.

I wasn't able to have that when I was young as my Dad was not a member so it's nice to have that now for my kids!

Cute pics. Glad they had a good first day back! We have never done father's blessings for back to school, sounds like a good thing to start though, I'll have to mention it to Jeremy.

I love this tradition as well, since pre-school! We can see how many houses we've lived in over the years, yet never changed schools! Cute pix. Very cool ;)
See ya tomorrow.ciao
