My sweet boy Jake...

Jacob, Cody, and Robbie. These three are the best of friends. Robbie is a year older. He had to come see what the fun was all about. :)

Jacob, and Kellie

I can't believe that my baby boy is going to graduate from high school in just over a month. I am so proud of him. Along with graduation prom comes along. Saturday night Jake, and his date attended the prom at a location near Falcon Field airport. Jake looked stunning!!! I looked at him, and tried hard to hold tears back. I don't know how the time flies so fast. It just seems like yesterday that my little toe headed boy was playing in the backyard with his brothers, and sister. He loved the Little Tike's cabin that stayed in the yard for quite a while. He would stand on the roof of it, and smile that sweet smile he has. Here are a few pictures of the the prom April 12, 2008.

I so relate to this post Michelle. Bittersweet times of life. He really looks like a nice boy. Good for him on graduating. I have such mixed emotions whenever the kids leave. Last night my son that just moved out a couple of weeks ago, came by and we stayed up and talked til 2:00 am. It was grand. Take care and enjoy the next few weeks with Jake in school. Bye for now.

A handsome boy, indeed! I cannot imagine what kind of mixed emotions you must have with your "young" boy now being a grown man!

When you talked about having to hold back your tears it made me think of my little boy. He will be grown up before I know it. I am just trying to treasure every moment with him.

Thanks for sharing the pictures!!

Prom time...what fun! Your Jake is such a nice looking young man and about to graduate! We just brought our daughter to ASU...and it seems like yesterday...and now she's practically done with her first year. Amazing and bittersweet how the time flies. At least you have the next few years with your daughter for more milestones to be reached.

What are Jake's plans for next year?

They do grow up fast, don't they? Annelise also graduates this year. Same thing...she used to stand on her little Tykes house! Only she would scream funny things at our neighbors and then duck! like they never knew it was her... haha.

Your son is so handsome.

Hope he had a great time at his Prom.

What a great photo of Jake and his date - her dress is such a beautiful color. They do grow up fast, don't they? I love the ease of a blog to help record their daily life. Take care Michelle!

How did I not realize that your little is only a year ahead of mine? Tyler just picked out his tux yesterday for the jr/sr prom in a few weeks. I totally hear you - you blink and then they are grown and ready to leave. You will have to help me with that transition as you have some experince in that dept.
Cute couple
