the weekend...
Isn't he cute!
This weekend was such a nice, and relaxing one. It was conference weekend, which made it that much more special. I will write my thoughts about conference in another post. :) We have spent the last three nights eating outside. We are trying to enjoy this wonderful weather. Warm days are right around the corner.
My Mom made me this darling wreath. I like it so much I thought I would hang it on the pool gate, instead of my front door. I see the gate in the backyard several times a day. The front door we rarely use. We usually always enter thru the side garage door. This wreath reminds me of my Mom, and of happy! It is so cheery. Thank you Mom for thinking of me, and making it. :) I also found these cute little ducks at of all places, Safeway this week. They were to cute to pass by. Summer is in the air, and we are loving it! :)

I love the wreath and the ducks!! What a nice mom! This is the best time of the year. The chill is gone and it's not too hot!
My friend just showed me some bunnies she bought at Safeway and now I see they have cute ducks too! I guess I need to look for more there than just groceries. I LOVE the wreath your mom made too!
What beautiful spring decorations! I love that you put them where you will enjoy them the most!
How nice of your Mom to make you the wreath...and a great idea to put it somewhere that you could see it while indoors!
Adorable ducks...I thought you were gonna say you got them at Target. I saw some at Target and thought they were so cute! Like I've mentioned before, our decorating tastes are so similar.
My daughter has been telling me about the AZ weather. She's been laying out every weekend and enjoying the pool. It's been nice here too but still a bit breezy. Before long both of us will have scorching heat...not fun!
Love your spring-y wreath! What a fun gift! Those duckies are darling too! You always decorate so cute!
That wreath is ultra cheery and springy bright. I love it. I like the pic of your hubby (I presume).
Conference was amazing for sure. And the ducks from Safeway are not edible? Wow, that was a find. LOL.
Hope you have a great week in the AZ State. And it makes me think of my son there every time I comment in here. I miss him so much.
I'm so glad that you want to join the blog book group! I'll make you a writer on it too so that you can post if you'd like!
Yea!!! I found your blog! Yellow is my favorite color, so I love the wreath, I just love these blogs, what a fun thing to do. Good luck with your sewing, I have attempted several projects burp cloths, blankets, I am going to try to make some baby shoes, they are soooo cute, hope I can figure it out.

Super cute wreath and ducks!! And yea for the nice weather...I'm sure it won't be around too much longer, but I am glad you are enjoying it while it's here!!
I was just thinking before reading your post and after seeing your pics that it was a clever idea to put that cute wreath on the pool gate. Clever!
I'm so jealous of your warmth and your pool. We have gotten snow every day for the last few days. I'm over it.
That wreath is very pretty.
Those ducks are so cute! I wish we had a safeway here so I could go get some.
I also love that wreath - the yellow is so pretty!

That is such a pretty wreath! I want one. We're having some pretty nice days up here in the mountains, too. Not quite as warm as you, though. Enjoy it before it's too hot! :o)
I love the wreath and I love your backyard. How heavenly! I miss having a pool in my backyard!
BEAUTIFUL wreath! Your mom has great taste! How's the sewing going? I'm still learning through trial and error on my aprons. I did the zig zag stitch tonight on the outlines of the appliques. Let's just say that I won't be entering any contests soon! :)
Hey Michelle - I have some blog bling for you!
I love the wreath and the ducks. So cute! I'm loving the weather also. It is bitter sweet because I know that such perfect weather only leads to hot unbearable weather. Luckily it will only be a few months before the good weather returns.
Fun pool wreath! I am sure that it will be looked at and admired greatly hung in such a fun location! Ah, we had two days of glorious weather - warmth and sun. Today - back to gloomy, cold and drizzle. It is a huge price to pay for all this lucious green year round - but I am ready for SUMMER to be here!
