sewing, painting, and having fun...

I had to post these sunflowers. I was at Fry's a few weeks ago, and they had them for a dollar a piece. They were the prettiest sunflowers I have ever seen.

I sure have been enjoying this summer. When summer started I told myself that we as a family where going to stretch, and grow. Go places we haven't been before, do things we haven't done before, etc. I now know how to sew, and LOVE it! I will post some pictures of some blankets I have made tomorrow. We also have painted the craft room, and a few accents that are going in it. Hopefully, we will have it all put together this week. I can't wait to post pictures. I am loving the joy, I am finding, in meeting some personal goals. I have learned that I can do it!!! President Spencer W. Kimball shared the words Do It these words many years ago. I love them. They are so simple, yet have so much meaning behind these 2 little words.

If that apron in the background is any indication of your works, how fun.

Great find on the sunflowers! I'm surprised at some of the cute things at the grocery stores these days. I found the cutest little topiary at Safeway the other day.

Love the apron too.

And the words. It does feel good to get goals accomplished. I need to get off the computer right now and get some done!
