Favorite Christmas stories...

I LOVE Christmas stories. I have started to collect Children's Christmas books. This is a favorite new tradition of mine. I love to read them, and remember back in time. Maybe to the time when, I was read to, when I was a little one. I also enjoy reading them to my family. I think everyone enjoys a Christmas story with love, and feelings behind it. I can't wait for the day that we have little grandchildren, and I get to read Christmas stories to them. What a beautiful thought that is, it brings tears to my eyes, and love to my heart. No, that day is not near right now, but some day. I have a question for all of you! What are some of your favorite Christmas stories? I would love any recommendations.

I just started reading Christmas stories to my girls this year. I think they're finally old enough to understand a little bit more. :) I love your new family picture!

Wow that is a great list up above. I need to steal some of those ideas. I am a dud when it comes to knowing stories off the top of my head.

This is a great tradition to start with kids. They love when you read to them, or at least my kids do!

We try to read a different Christmas story every night. One of my faves is Snowmen at Night. Another is Who Will Guide My Sleigh Tonight? by Jerry Pallotta and David Biedrzycki. Cute stories and beautiful illustrations in both. A friend of mine just posted about her favorite called, Santa Calls. Here's her blog if you want to see what she said http://wordtoyourmother-mindi.blogspot.com/
