The sabbath, and a new temple!

Tonight is the first night in many that all is calm. Graduations are over, and summer has started. We just put Sarah on the plane to attend EFY at BYU in Provo. She is so excited for it to begin tomorrow morning. This will be the longest amount of time that she has been away from home. The boys were all so cute about her going. They let her know to not talk to boys! Like that is going to happen. They are quite protective of her. It actually is quite cute. 3 older brothers, and a little sister. I feel so blessed when I see the love they have for one another.

Another bit of exciting news is http://newsroom.lds.org/ldsnewsroom/eng/news-releases-stories/new-temple-for-phoenix-arizona-announced#continued It amazes me how the church has kept growing, and growing in Arizona. I just can't imagine 5 temples whithin a few hours from eachother. This makes my heart happy. It is amazing to know that the gospel is growing at such a fast pace, right here in Arizona.

I am off to work on some jewelry. I haven't had time for this, much less any hobbies lately. I have missed it. I finally feel like we all can take a big breath, and relax. :) Happy Sabbath! :)

Grew up in Tucson and thought they would have a temple there by now...but nooooo, not righteous enough yet. Haha.

Our kids are not at EFY until late July in MA. We are not our of school until June 18.

Ugh.

I wish Berlynn would have attended EFY. She was at a BYU softball camp when there was an EFY going on and the kids looked like they were having a blast. And there were so many of them. Just being in Provo is awesome. I love that place.
Thats so exciting about a Temple being built there in Gilbert. It will be so fun to watch it being built. When the Vegas Temple was being built we always took a ride every Sunday to see the progress. Fun times!!!!

That is so sweet that your boys have that type of relationship with your daughter. She will have so much fun. I'm going to have to get some pointers from you on how to raise daughters, with having 2 boys. Maybe we can get together & do something fun & you can share stories with me.
I am so excited to have so many temples here. Now our kids will have so many to chose from at which one they want to be married in!!
Thanks for the sweet comments..

That is such terrific news. I can't believe how blessed you are down there. The church is growing so fast and hardy. Good members of the church. My son is always telling me that. Hope you have a wonderful day today.

I am wanting see a picture of Sarah's 8th grade graduation! She is such a sweet girl! I am glad she is going to EFY - Molly and Austin will attend in Flagstaff in June, Molly is so excited for her first time: Austin went last year and liked meeting other kids from AZ. I want to see the jewelry you are making, I have just got done watching some info. online about silver stamping jewlry - I'm intrigued big time, thinking I need to go out and buy a bunch of things to create!

i am so excited for Sarah to get to go to EFY! I was a counselor there for two years and loved it! Sarah seems like the type of person who will make the absolute most out of the experience, and will come away so much stronger!

I am excited to keep hearing about all the new temples in AZ - you guys are so blessed!
