Saint Patty's Day

We had a fun day yesterday. My niece Ellie flew in from Nevada. She is going to spend the week with us. Sarah, and Ellie have been the best of friends/cousins since they were able to walk, and talk.

Last night we celebrated Saints Patrick's day with a good ol' fashioned Saint Patty's day dinner. We had pork, red potatoes, green cabbage, rolls, fruit salad, and green pistachio pudding. The kids seemed to enjoy it, and I had fun cooking for them. I haven't downloaded the pictures of last night yet. I will post them later. Here is a picture of some yummy cookies I picked up yesterday, they were yummy!

You are so great to have all these fun traditions for your family!

My husband usually cooks up some corned beef and cabbage since he served in Ireland, but this year he was working too late.

That's awesome that you did something - it wasn't until the evening that I even remembered it was St. Patty's day.

They finally, finally start selling these cookies in Montreal. I just can't get enough of them, or that is, when I look at the fat and calorie intake on them, I may cut back one of them! Hope you are well! Take care :)
