cleaning update...

Well, there was a change of plans. :) After I typed my last post I was planning on heading to my bedroom to get to work. Sarah woke up sick Monday morning, and has been home all week. I feel so bad for her. She is just miserable. She has chills, cold, cough, aches, etc. The only thing that seems to help is aspirin, and the rice heating bag, that I heat in the microwave. She loves the warmth, and comfort of this bag. So, back to my cleaning. I changed areas of cleaning. My room is in the back of the house. Sarah has been resting in the living room. My motivation brought me to clean out my laundry room. This felt great to get done! I also caught up on the laundry on Monday. Today I think I will straighten a few drawers in the kitchen. :) While I am on this kick, I bet run with it! I hope my spring cleaning mood lasts a while longer. It sure feels good to get some things done that I have been putting off. Have you gotten the spring cleaning bug yet? :)

Michelle, thank you for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment. I had noticed your blog a few days ago. Most of my interest in your blog is that you too are an Arizonan... I was born and raised in Tucson, and married in the Mesa temple. Which I noticed in your picture to the sidebar with your hubby.

Oh how I miss the west... but not ready to leave the east coast. Hope you will visit my blog again. It looks as though we both have same age children. Don't you just love teenagers? They certainly keep us entertained over here in Connecticut.

Tell Sarah I hope she feels better soon! Good for you to get the laundry room done - we need to motivate each other! Yesterday I emptied book/display cases and dusted and rearranged...giving everything a fresh look. Must be spring fever!

So sorry to hear about your Sarah. I hope she gets to feeling better soon.

I haven't been bitten by the spring cleaning bug yet but did do some good cleaning on Sunday which satisfied me greatly!

Michelle, yesterday I sent another comment on your last post. You mentioned that you are decorating in red. I found the cutest little red goodies yesterday and I would love to send them to you for your kitchen. I had asked you to email me your address...but if you would prefer not to, I totally understand. You can just email me at chasins4@yahoo.com. Thanks and talk to you soon.

I have been getting rid of old clothes and kids clothes that don't fit anymore. :D I love the feeling that cupboards are clean. Good for you.

I am trying to get into the Spring cleaning mood, but it is so overwhelming!

I hope that Sarah is feeling better soon. My son was home for 4 days with the flu a couple weeks ago. It is such a nasty bug!

I have the Spring cleaning bug bad, but am feeling kind of yucky myself. I have so much I want to do but am lacking the energy to carry it out.

Hope she feels better!!Yes, usually laundry gets done when someone in the home is sick. So you're still good with the cleaning vibe. :)

I was looking for a site that had clocks to post on blogs. I will be doing the same..thanks!

Poor Sarah! Sounds like the flu! I've been bitten by the spring cleaning bug ~ it's called moving. LOL I love those rice bags, but ours is made out of wheat. Smells like popcorn when we put ours in the microwave!
