peaches...

I ordered some peaches from Utah. The peaches are sitting on my kitchen counter. Reason being, I can't decide what to do with them. They are to small to can. For some reason, this batch aren't the biggest peaches, we have ever gotten. I am considering making jam. I also am thinking about making the kids a cobbler. Steve, and I are dieting, so it would be a no no for us. I am wondering if any of you, have any peachy ideas or recipes, that you can share with me. I will be thrilled with any ideas that you want to share. Thanks! :)

I was going to suggest a fresh peach pie but that's probably a no no too huh!?!

My hubby and I decided we need to go on a diet also. Yesterday I suggested we start one today...he suggested we wait until all of the chips are gone!

Yum! I've been dying to get some good peaches. Everywhere I've bought them they have been awful, except for Sprouts. I miss farmer's market peaches from Utah!! They're SO yummy. I made some peach jam that was pretty good, but not the best- so I won't give you that recipe :) I had a horrible time trying to can them, so I don't think I'll ever do that again- and besides- it totally changes the flavor of them after you can them. Something that's really yummy is blend a bunch of ice and peaches together for a yummy drink (skin them first). Love you!

Hi Michelle!

A lady in my ward in Oregon used to peel them, slice them and freeze them together with green grapes, crushed pineapple, a little lemon juice, and a little sugar. It sounds a little weird, but eaten together partially frozen, it was a delicious treat. Not as good as cobbler, but still tasty and refreshing.

Hey Michelle, I was wondering if you could make my step-mom a necklace. We talked about it last year but it did not work out. If you are free in the next week or two please email me at: courtney1998@yahoo.com
Thank you! courtney1998 from mormonchic

I would slice them and freeze them (put them in those bags that take all of the air out first). Mmmm, peaches are SO yummy!!
