Conversation with my Mother in law-Utah beauty
Family this summer in Midway Utah
Yesterday I was on the phone with my mother in law. We were talking about this, and that. Then the subject of weather came up. She let me know how beautiful it was in Utah right now. I let her know that she wasn't really missing anything here in Arizona, since the temperatures were still around 105! We try go to Utah in October. It is a perfect time to enjoy the leaves changing, spend time with family, before the busy holidays approach, etc. Life has been so busy with our business, etc. that I had it in my mind, that this year we would skip October, and take a trip up there in the next few months. I hung the phone up, and thought, can I miss my October trip? The visiting, the leaves, the beauty, the calm before the holidays. Hmm, I might just have to change my mind, about our October trip. Today I am grateful for family, love, and the beauty our world has. There is nothing like seeing red, yellow, and orange leaves changing their color. Love it!

What a beautiful picture of your family. I know my son can't wait to come home and have a real winter. I can't believe how hot it is still in AZ. We are finally feeling the Fall here, and I love that feeling.
I so want to go to Utah in October too. I really love it up there this time of year...
that is ONE FABULOUS family pic! love it!
yeah sounds like you'd miss the trip too much! you should do it. have fun!
Stacie and I both got a call from Nannie yesterday too! It must of been the day to make long-distance calls! I love the fall too, I do love the leaves changing, that's the only thing I really miss about having actual seasons. I don't miss the snow except for on X-mas eve and x-mas day. Other than that, I do love Az. Yah, it's hot...REALLY hot for about 5 months...but then it's great the rest of the year. Thanks for posting the big family picture, now I can say that you have a picture of me on your blog page!! Take care.....
Love that photo. So cool with the old car and all. And your mirror and decorations look so good!
I am SO SAD that we aren't going to be able to go to Utah this year either. It's amazing in October!
That is a great picture! And you are right about the beauty of the changing leaves! I just took a ride today, up into the mountains of Colorado and had a picnic with my kids. It was not only so fun, but just beautiful! The smell of the air was crisp and had that great Fall scent! I hope you don't have to miss your October visit to Utah!! :)
Work will always be busy. I think you should kick off the season and enjoy Fall in Utah for a few days!
What a great picture!! Hey, it's nice up here in the mountains!
I miss UT in the fall, too. And I miss the huge flowering gardens in the summer when all of my flowers are frying. I don't do cactus.
That is a great pic! I love the old truck in the background.
I hope you don't skip your OCt trip! It is breathtaking here in UT. I can't believe how much it is already changing. I love it.
I was just talking to my Dad today about the heat. He is also sick of the weather....
We will be in Utah in a few weeks...
