New recipes for a new year

Since it a new year, I have decided to try new recipes. Last night, I thought it would be a good night to have Indian Fry Bread. Kari-kariswarmplace.blogdspot.com shared this great recipe. Steve made some of his wonderful salsa to go along with it. I served the fry bread with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and then powdered sugar, and honey! YUM! I think the kids liked having something a little different. I will for sure be making this again. Thanks Kari!

Love scones! I'm too lazy to make the dough, so I just use the Rhodes frozen roll dough, turns out so good! We usually eat ours like yours, but we add chili to it too. So good. I LOVE your Valentines decorations from the last post. Too cute. I can't believe it's just a month away!

Mmmm... Fry bread is awesome! If you ever make it up to Cameron, AZ (a little out of the way spot on HWY 89) they have the best Navajo Tacos ever!

Yummy! Do you keep the powdered sugar & honey separate, or do you put it on the cheese, sour cream, etc??

OOOOH Yum! We make that at our house too. My kids cal it "squish bread" Good stuff.

It also reminds me of the Navajo Tacos that the dorms use to serve at BYU.
Good memories!

When Craig and I were dating, one of the things that endeared me to their family was their weekly consumption of Indian Fry Bread - it's so so good! We would have ours with chili and cheese and vegies and then have it with honey and butter - oh so so good! Thanks for the memory! How's your business going?
