Sunday afternoon with Nanny and Bud...

Sarah and Bud...so cute.

Linda and Miss Mollie

Sunday afternoon we went over to Steve's parents home for dinner, and to visit. The weather was beautiful, so we ate outside. It was such a relaxing afternoon. Linda gave us a book, she had made of all of her famous recipes. I was sooo happy to receive this. Linda, is such a wonderful cook! Now I will have the recipes for her famous hot fudge, peanut brittle, scone recipe etc. I only wish I could be as good of a cook as her. We decided to bring Mollie so Linda could see her. We keep trying to talk them into getting a dog. :) So far, Bud has kept to his firm NO! :)

The Spring Cleaning bug has hit me. Thank goodness! I am feeling productive today. I am planning on finishing the bathroom closet this morning. I started last night, and needed a little break. I am not sure how in the world that closet got sooo bad! Does anyone else have the spring cleaning bug? :)

I wish I had that bug! I keep trying to get 'in the mood' for spring cleaning but am just going from one project to the next and not diving deep into anything!

What a great gift! I really wish I would've gotten my Grandmas' recipes before they passed away.

The recipe book is such a great idea. That was so nice she gave it to you. I have been cleaning things out like crazy around here. Next I am getting my carpets cleaned. That will be so nice to have done.

how fun- nothing like spending a Sunday evening with fam. You will have to share some of your mother in laws fabulous recipes! Yum! What a great gift. And yes, we definitely have the Spring cleaning bug here- i'm always wondering how closets get so disarrayed when they start out so organized!
