Sunday...

I made these chocolate covered pretzels to take to my Mom's yesterday. They were so fun, and easy to make.

Yesterday was a good day. The leaders of the youth in our ward took the youth to the Randlph center. We left our homes right after 7:00 a.m to head to Coolidge. The Randolph center is a facility that houses severely handicapped adults. It is owned by the state. For many years our church has sent the youth, and leaders to attend church services there. When we arrived we had a little introduction. Then we were assigned a patient to go, and meet. We then took our patient back to Sacrament meeting. These sweet patients are so severly handicapped. Our patient was named Larry. He never uttered a word. We could tell though by his response that he was happy to have us there. It was a great time, and wonderul learning experience for all of us. We returend home right after 1:00.

We then headed to my Mom, and Lash's to watch the Superbowl! Wow, what a game! Everyone was on pins, and needles down to the last few seconds. We had a good time, and good food.

What yummy looking snacks! At least you went to do a visit - it would be hard to not get many visitors so it is nice when people take the time out.

The game was terrific - best one in years!

Looks delish! Wish we could have connected for lunch. We are on a strange timetable - well, no time table - that was our problem! Next year for sure!

I recently stumbled upon your blog and have enjoyed reading your posts. My children are young adults too so I can relate to blogs about proms/college/mother-
daughter shopping, etc! Fun!
I'm sure I'll be visiting your site quite often!

The pretzels look great...I'll have to give them a try this Valentine's.

What a great experience for the youth. Isn't Coolidge far?

I think the best part of the Superbowl is the food and commercials. Yummy pretzels indeed!
