SPT-Valentine's...Love me.

These have been on the counter this month. I am trying to think of something to fill them after Valentine's day. Any ideas? :)

Reading about Love and Logic

This weeks SPT challenge is Love, me

What will you do for yourself for Valentine's day?

This sValentine's is going to be a little different for our family. We usually all spend it together as a family. Steve, and I have been taking a class on Thursday nights called Love, and Logic. We are loving it! We were hoping that they would change the night it was held, this week becasue of Valentine's day. No such luck. I think this year we will take the kids out to dinner early, then head to our class. It really has been bugging me that we won't be home Thursday evening. I just love traditions, and don't like to break them. :) As for what I will do for myself on Valentine's...hmmm. I am in need for some spring clothes. Our temps. have gone from cool, to the high 70's, in a matter of days. Maybe I will head to the mall, and pick up some T's in spring colors. I am loving all of the bright, and cheery colors that I am seeing.

I desperately need to take a Love & Logic class before I forever ruin my children! I've heard only good about their philosophies.

Cute valentine's decorations!

i guess if you have to break a tradition this year, you have a pretty good reason! sounds like a wonderful class.

your cloches are awesome!! i don't have any immediate ideas for post-valentine's, but the possibilities are endless, i'm sure.

I love your bell jars! There's a little time to go Green - anything green would be cute. Grow a pot of rye grass, or those moss covered stones (check Michael's) and they had some really cute jade green chickadees that could stay until after Easter.

I haven't done Love & Logic, but I've heard great things. My favorite parenting program was by Dr. Glen Latham, Positive Discipline. He was awesome! (Be positive, choose your battles, say yes whenever possible and mean it when you say no.)

I love traditions too. So hard to have to rearrange your plan. Maybe an early dinner will be good, so the kids can go do their own thing with friends afterwards.

I absolutely love the bell jars on the black pedestals...something I would take home in a minute! If you have any kind of a fruit theme going on in your home you could put lemons, grapes, etc. in them after Valentine's. What fun to be able to decorate with them each holiday.

Your Thursday night class sounds very beneficial...just to bad they couldn't have switched it to another night! It's so disappointing to break traditions.

Shopping for Valentine's...sounds like a great plan. Have fun and have a great Valentine's!

I am a HUGE Love and Logic advocate! Now if only I would be perfect at it! ;) I just returned some lectures on CD to the library and own a couple of books! I agree 100% with the philosophy.

Cute jar things! You always have the cutest, most festive decor!

Hope you have a lovely V-DAY, even if it's a little untraditional!

We've warmed up so much too. We were able to have all of the doors open this afternoon.

I would do something springy. For Easter they would look darling with real grass and cute easter eggs.

That is too bad that they won't change the class time. Darn! Hopefully you will be able to get in all that you want before you go. I like that you spend the day as a family also.

I LOVE those Platter, container things. SOOO darn cute. You will have to find something that goes along with St. Patricks day!

What a neat class! How ironic that it falls on Valentine's day. :D Enjoy your evening. Very fun to go get spring clothes already. It was warm over the weekend but it is back down to the 50's again. Too cold for spring clothes here.
