Rain

I want to thank all of you for the nice comments you left me. It made me feel so good to realize that I have developed such friendships with my blogging journey. You all are such wonderful people! It is so uplifting to visit your blogs, and see what is going on in your life's, families, etc.

We woke up to rain this morning. It has been raining all day. We sure do need the moisture. I think it must be my mood, because in my head I keep repeating the words. Rain Rain Go Away! :)I want the sunshine to shine behind those clouds. I lived in Oregon when I was younger. The rain didn't bother me a bit. The older I have gotten, I realize I am a sun person. I was born in Arizona, and have spent the most of my life here. I think at times I take the sun for granted. I am home today from church. I was supposed to teach today. It bothers me soooo bad that I am not at church. I am trying to adapt to the fact that I do really have to take it easy. This hasn't been easy for me. I tend to fight it, and then it makes it wore. It is all about acceptance I guess. All, and all I am doing OK. Just rest, rest, and more rest. Boring! :)

It's hard to accept the whole "slow down" thing, I'm sure. How long is this going to be for? Is this something that is long term or can medication help? Hm...

I like the rain, but not too much. We got quite a bit overnight here too. I'm sorry you had to miss church. Get some good books and take advantage of having to rest!

That is terrible that you have that, but glad you were able to get a clear diagnosis. It's hard when you feel crummy and add that with dark clouds (not a good combination) My grandma said it hailed in Lehi Friday night. Crazy!!

Oh, and I wanted to tell you I found a house I am in LOVE with just down your street. I will call you tomorrow. Yay!! (they dropped the price by a TON too) Maybe you know them?? Talk to you soon!

I always looked forward to the rain when we lived in AZ, because there was so little of it! But yeah, rain isn't fun when you already feel a little blue.

Take good care of yourself through this. I just listened to a great book on cd that is really helping me, I blogged about it if you're interested though I didn't do it justice.

(((((HUGS))))

I would totally be the same about resting because I'm not the type of person that can just "rest" - it drives me batty. So I'm sorry, I can see how frustrating that must be. As for the rain, I am loving it, but I've always been an Arizona girl so for me it's a short-lived treat.
