not feeling well

I have been sooo tired lately, chills body aches, etc. It all started right after Christmas. I think it did, anyway. I had some blood work done. I have Epstein Barr. I guess I am glad that I now know what I have. The bad part is, I don't like what I have. I flat out, am sooo tired. I go to see the Dr. again next week. Until then I am trying to rest as much as I can. This can be challenging when you live at my house! :) I have decided to simplify things around here for the time being. Just do what I can do, and the rest will get done eventually. This too shall pass.

HEY! I had that twice when I was in the 5th grade and in 8th grade! I literally spent 3 months out of school and either in bed or in the hospital! Hope you that you rally soon! Not a great thing as there isn't anything much you can do! You're in my thoughts!

I hope you are feeling better soon. I had Epstein bar in HS. No fun. It can stay with you for a very long time. Maybe that is why I always am tired.
Take care of yourself!!!

Oh no! I have a friend who has Epstein-Barr and hers is currently "in remission" (for lack of a better term). Oh, I'm sure you're glad to know what's going on but so disappointed to have *that*!

You have the right attitude, simplify and just do what you can.

I'm sorry to hear about that, but like you said, at least you know why you're tired and worn out now. Answers are better than nothing. Take care of yourself and I hope you start feeling a little more energetic with the beautiful weather we're enjoying!

Oh Michelle...I have not been good at checking blogs lately, but I am so sad to hear that there's such a big reason behind your fatigue. Simplifying is harder than it sounds for you, I imagine. My thoughts are with you...hoping you can tackle this soon and feel more like yourself!

Oh lady! I'm so sorry! that is NO FUN! i read this days ago and have been thinking about you! and honey! take it easy and relax! take it from me. your kids are big, they can help take care of you for a bit! and you need to get a housekeeper to come in so you won't feel like you need to clean when you shouldn't! YOU need to rest and feel better! and you deserve a break. lay in bed read some books. nap all day! watch chick flicks! and rest! Hugs for you! I'm sure it rots and this totally goes against all you believe in a do. but you need to take care of yourself for a little while . and let others take care of you! let me know if i can do anything for you or you need to be talked into resting! i am a pro now. i can give you tons of tips!
I'm sure it is pretty great thought to know what is wrong. and not have to worry and wonder now! to have a reason you need a nap every afternoon. and not feel lazy about it!
and by the way, my 8 year old had Epstein Barr. without me even knowing. she had a flair up this year. but is otherwise great. it can come back with stress. so take it easy!

Hugs, hope you feel better soon!
