Hummingbird feeder...

Every time I see a hummingbird, or a hummingbird feeder I think of my Grandma. We called her Nanny. Nanny always had a Hummingbird feeder out her kitchen window. I now have one outside my kitchen window. It always gives me a feeling of warmth when I look out, and see it. I cherish these kind of memories. Simple, yet so meaningful. Is there anything you do or have that makes you think of someone in your family?

When my grandma passed away, I got her cookie jar. I have it up on a shelf in my kitchen. I see it everyday and remember what a wonderful, patient and loving person she was.

Speaking of grandma's I would have to say orange trees. She has over 20 in her orchard in Lehi. I used to go out and pick them for her.

When I saw your hummingbird feeder I thought of my mother in law. She loves them and we love to watch the little creatures outside her kitchen window.

How sweet is your hummingbird feeder! I love it! My parents were here for the month of Dec. and my dad helped Chase build a bird feeder as a cub scout requirement and they put out birdseed every day for those cute birds. Now that my parents are gone the poor birds are most likely starving! :)
Michelle - make sure to enter on my blog for a V-day treat! and call me when you get a minute!

Hummingbird feeders always remind me of my cousins' cabin. That was the first time I had ever seen a hummingbird up close. That's where some of my best memories are from.

I love the hummingbird feeder. I love memories like that. How fun. I can't think of anything off the top of my head right now that reminds me of family. I know there are some though :D

I need to get a hummingbird feeder too. I see hummingbirds around the trees in our backyard. Don't know if they are finding any food to eat back there. They are so soothing to watch.

I love hummingbirds! We used to have one outside of our house growing up and I just used to marvel at how fast their little wings flapped!
