a project day...

Today is one of those days that I am enjoying working on projects. These are some of my favorite days! I think I will have Sarah's room done by tonight. I hope! It has been a lot of fun. I am going to put out the few Fourth of July decorations that we have. This is the one holiday that I never have had to many decorations for. Maybe it is because it is right in the middle of the summer. It usually is so hot here in July. We try to be out of town as much as possible. I was looking at Heidi Swapp's website the other night. I stumbled upon this cute idea for the kids. I thought it would be great for them to be able to sit, and relax, and let their minds be creative. I was on Kim's blog the other day. I saw that she had come upon the same thing. So cute Kim! I chose to put the crayons, markers, and colored pencils in buckets, decorated for the Fourth of July. I found these at Target in the dollar section. Gotta love Target!

was just at target. I also saw those as well. I wish I could put our some 4th f July decorations, but I am going to start packing in a few days. I am so excited to see Sarah's room. I have been thinking about what I am going to do in Emily’s, Jakob and Ian’s bedrooms the new house. I have some ideas.

Have a great day my sweet friend :)

I saw those at Target! I bought the solid red and blue ones w/ a star cut out in the middle. I thought for mine I would put a votive candle in it ... HMM! Good idea though for the markers/etc!

I so wish we had a Target - although I just might there everyday, so maybe it's good I can't visit one. Great idea!

That is such a cute idea! I was just at target yesterday and didn't see those cute tins. My mom just got me red, white and blue star lights. I don't know where to hang them yet but they are really cute.

I can't wait to see your daughters room. I am redoing my girls room and I am on the hunt for bedding.

Cute family photo.

So way cute! We have this going on at our house too -but in a different form -we had to go to chandler & scottsdale, mon & tues for appts. & took a lil play buddy of the kid's with us. They packed a craft caddy that we use on car trips and it's still sitting on the floor -packed full of art supplies. I was going to ask the littles to put it all away & tidy up, but then thought'No. This is quick & accessable for them!'
Thanks for your theme idea -FAB!ciao
