Friday...

AS I reflect back on the past week I realize how wonderful it has been. We have been overly busy with school activities, projects, studying for finals, late nights, etc. I feel so blessed that everyone is healthy, and seems to be happy! Last night we attended Sarah's band concert. She has been playing the flute for 3 years now. From day one we have always brought all of our family members to any activity the kids are in. Meaning our immediate family. Grandparents, aunts etc. do usually come too. Over the years the kids have been to so many concerts, games, activities of their siblings. Last night it was Steve, Nate, his girlfriend Erin, and my daughter in law Desirae that attended. What I think is so neat is the fact as the kids have gotten a little older they are still right there for one another. I think it is wonderful how they all text, and or call one another during the day. They truly are very close to each other. They are always right there to rally around the one that may be having a hard time. They know if they ever needed anything they could count on their Mom, and Dad, and siblings.

Oh Sarah looks to cute! That is great that her older siblings still enjoy coming to her concerts. I hope that my kids will do the same for each other when they get older.
You truly have very close family. What example you are to me.

PS Come fly to Washington and help me this weekend :)

that is so great that your kids text each other, and are so close. I just pray that my kids are able to be that close when they get older.

Thanks to YOU they are so close! A great mother who forsaw the importance of supporting one another! I'm glad it's been a swell week for you! It's such a good feeling, as a mom, when we can feel that everyone is healthy, happy, and thriving! :)

Have a splendid weekend!

I love how close your kids are - that's how me and my sister's are. We are just each other's best friends, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

It takes dedicated parents like you to help us stubborn kids realize that we really do like each other. :) I really hope I can be a mom just like you someday! Thanks for the example!

That is so neat that your family is close that way. My family is the same way. We are all very close and love it that way. It makes it so great when everyone is older. You have done a wonderful job. I feel it starts with the parents. That is awesome that they are very supportive of each other.

That is awesome that your kids and family and so close. I kind of miss that with some of my siblings. I really try to be at all of the activities and ralley the grandparents. We only live by my husbands family and it is hit and miss with them. It make such a huge difference with the kids when they have people there to support them.

Cute picture of your husband. I hope he was able to raise a lot of money!

I love pictures of youth playing instruments! It's so wonderful to see your daughter so excited about her talents and her family so supportive. That's how great musicians are made!
