Sunny Sunday...

We have had one busy weekend. The weather has been absoluuuutely amazing. I had to post some pictures of Jake on one of his pocket bikes. He loves riding them. With the weather being so nice he has been beating the pavement! This scares me sooooo badly! These little bikes don't go very fast, thank goodness. I have three boys, well 4 including Steve, that love engines, speed, anything that goes. I also deal with the fact that they are all almost fearless! I believe they got this from Steve. I know it wasn't from me!!! I have to post about an obstacle I conquered. Ben got married almost 2 years ago. When he left I was sooooo sad. I cried on, and off months before he got married, and after. I love Desirae to pieces. It had nothing what so ever to do with her. It was the fact that my baby was leaving. I left Ben's room just the way he left it. I didn't change a thing. I finally came to terms that his room needed a little change. I worked on it all morning. I think I finally have come to terms that it will always be his room, just decorated a little different. Ohhh, the joys of motherhood. Well, I am off to spend time with the family. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday.

WOW!!!! Those bikes are so small. I guess that is why they are called pocket bikes!

Yes, it is hard when a child gets married and moves out. I know I will cry like a baby when my kids get married:(

The room looks great. It is already for me and Ryan. heeheehee
Have a wonderful Sunday with your family. Time for me to make cookies. See you SOON girl:) Get ready to party!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't realize your daughter is 12 too! Another thing we have in common ;) love the pix. If I cried when the littles went to kindergarten, I will for sure be cryin when they get married, like you! Have you heard the song- 'He was the light of my life'? a cute, upbeat diddly -the mother singing about her son getting married. SO
sweet & teary!! -ciao

i think all moms have a hard time when their kids get married but i think it is especially ahrd for them when their boys get married. for some reason there is a huge bond between mothers and sons.

I love that you put pictures from his wedding in the room. that is so perfect.

my brothers love those little pocket bikes too and they are not small boys. it's funny to see them. our families are a lot alike in the sense that we also love anything we can ride and my 19 YO brother actually has a lisence plate cover that says "if you can drive it I can crash it" and he does crash EVERYTHING!!! he's fearless.

AAh! My boy is 18 mos and I'm already worrying about the daredevil he will be when I grows up. He has no fear. No fear+ bike= broken bones! I so afraid of when my boy grows up and moves away! That shows that you're a good mom though.
