A.I.

Today has been one of those days that I have been going, and going, yet haven't accompolsihed a lot! I hope I get some extra energy after American Idol tonight. Maybe I'll pull a late nighter. K, Sinjya seriously needs to go home tonight! Last night when he walked out on the stage my jaw dropped! 7-8 ponytails is just to much! We had house full of teenagers here lat night watching the show. They where so darn cute!!! I love how they all have their favorites. The kids had a half of a day of school today. I love half of days because that means more time to spend with them. I have to share something funny..well kind of about Sarah. Before 8:00 hit she called and said she forgot to have a paper signed. I said ok I need to hop in the shower. I let her know that Steve or I would be at the school to sign it. 25 minutes later, as I am in the shower she calls. She now remembers she forgot her P.E. clothes at home!!! 4 minutes later she calls again to tell me she also forgot her tennis shoes, and socks!!!!! Sarah is usually quite organized, but today wasn't one of those days. I sat there, and thought about her calls. I have known a few people that don't believe in bringing things to their kids if it was forgotten at home. I have always agreed that this does teach responsibility. I have always taken a different approach though. I feel blessed to be able to be a stay at home Mom. I have done my best to always be there for the kids. I figure if they forget things from time to time, then no biggie. Hey I lost my keys this past week for 3 days! I had to have someone from the dealership bring me a new set yesterday, and that wasn't a first. :) Everyone have a wonderful night, and enjoy A.I.

We'll see....Idol begins in 5 minutes! This is the only night time show I watch. Chloe took a cell phone picture on her chocolate of Sinjya last night - to
laugh at his hair!! It was soooo perfect too -he was sideways, head tipped back, wide open mouth into the microphone!! Classic ;)
we'll see....
also, yes we do bring the forgotten items to school for the kids! It's a pain but a privlege!-ciao

you are such a great mom. I hope I can be as good of a mom as you when my kids get older. My mom was a SAHM but she had 6 kids and I was the oldest so it was hard for her sometimes but she would always come through for me. It's so ridiculous that sanjaya is still on there. I think it's a conspiracy. people are voting for him because they don't like the show I think. It's pretty sad though. what if he actually wins.

That was one thing that I LOVED about my mom is that she was ALWAYS home when I called and needed something, that is how I want to be with my kids and how I think it should be so you are doing GREAT in my book....

What is up with the pony tails!!! And seriously not even in the bottom three. I about gasped. My grandma told me yesteray Howard Stern has something going with his viewers to vote for him. Have you heard that? It wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I am like you and would bring my kids stuff up to them. It never happens (or if it does it's rare) and I am known to loosing stuff a lot too :)

She probably was exhausted from the Easter Pagent practices right?

What a great mom! You're right you can't sweat the small stuff. Love the family photo - is it new?

American Idol was first on my things to watch - last year - Soul patrol! I haven't watched at all this year - how does it compare to last year? Thanks for your post!
